Waxed Cotton Bomber Jacket depicts a combination of heritage wear inspiration with contemporary form.
The process of making the jacket begins with sketches and conceptualization, where ideas are born and nurtured. These initial concepts are then translated into physical prototypes. Once the fabric has been cut into the correct patterns, the pieces are sewn by hand - every stitch and fold was imbued with the essence of giving form to an idea.
Materials are tested in-house, exploring their properties and potential. The final piece is made out of waxed cotton, providing water-resistance and durability. The waxed finish on the fabric gives a distinctive character - with each wear, it develops its own unique character, gaining wrinkles, color shading, and a worn-out look that tells the story of its journey.
